Jay-Z scores a platinum single with “Holy Grail” featuring Justin Timberlake

It was always a matter of when as opposed to if when it comes to Jay-Z and his record sales. Critics always find ways to subtract Jay-Z’s accomplishments, but that alone shows he is a force to be reckoned with. Jay-Z has consistently delivered nothing but classic music for seventeen years.

Before releasing Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay-Z forced the world to wait four years. In his initial 1996-2003 run, Jay-Z dropped an album every year and people knew he would drop sometime before Christmas. But, ever since he came out of retirement, his album releases have not been pinpoint-able(?).

Regardless, Jay-Z has the song of the year with “Holy Grail,” which features the man of the year, Justin Timberlake. The song has not even been released as an official single, but it is a radio hit. Now, Jay-Z can celebrate yet another single of his being certified platinum, as “Holy Grail” went today.
