After all of these years, Ace Hood has mostly played the background role. Even though he was DJ Khaled’s artist, Ace Hood did not receive the proper respect, like all the other artists associated with Khaled was. All of this changed when Ace Hood began putting together Trials & Tribulations.
Early in 2013, Ace Hood dropped the lead single, “Bugatti.” Even though his aim is to further establish himself as a solo artist, Ace Hood wisely added two of hip hop’s biggest hitmakers to the record. Future and Rick Ross did their thing on the song on the impact was that much bigger.
This spring, “Bugatti” plateaued out and several other songs have risen to popularity since then. Now, the entire summer is coming to a close and Ace Hood has already dropped his album. While the record sales continue to pile in, Ace Hood delivered an announcement on Twitter, “Bugatti” is platinum.
