A lot has been said about the violence in Chicago and it hit the hip hop world directly when GBE emerged in the forefront of the game. They personified the violence that had been mentioned in records from Kanye West and Common. Once Chief Keef emerged, the rest of the crew did too.
Lil Durk became a popular member of the crew, but he kept his distance from Chief Keef until they dropped a song late in 2012. Their union did not last long, as the two got into a beef on Twitter. In several interviews, Lil Durk has downplayed the situation, concluding with he and Chief Keef are not friends nor enemies.
Recently, Lil Durk performed in Ohio and the situation turned violence. These people played the role of enemy on Lil Durk. In the middle of his performance, Lil Durk was hit by a chair and after the chair was thrown, gunshots rang out. There was no word on any serious injuries.
