Papoose and Peter Rosenberg argue over his “Control” verse, calls him biased, on Hot 97 [AUDIO]

Papoose Get At MeBack in 2006, Papoose emerged successful and he looked pegged to be the next major star out of New York City. The New York hip hop scene had not produced any new stars in a few years and Papoose appeared to be next. Papoose signed a lucrative label deal, but nothing ever came from the deal.

Instead of being the mainstream star, Papoose has done well on the mixtape level and is considered a legend. Kendrick Lamar has caused the biggest discussion in hip hop with his verse on Big Sean’s “Control.” With that song shaking the game up the way it did, Papoose dropped his own remake single.

Papoose responded this morning and he also talked to Peter Rosenberg over there at Hot 97. During the interview, Peter Rosenberg talked about his Kendrick Lamar response and his support for him. Soon, the conversation turned into an argument between the two, with Papoose calling Rosenberg biased.
