Kobe Bryant names Jay-Z’s “Reasonable Doubt” as his favorite album of all-time

Jay-Z often compares himself to Michael Jordan, but there are a lot of parallels between himself and Kobe Bryant. Both emerged in 1996 and have had illustrious careers full of ups and downs. In the case of Jay-Z, he retired from 2003 until 2006 and Kobe Bryant had career struggles from 2003 through 2006.

While Jay-Z may not fully see the connection between himself and Kobe Bryant, the legendary Lakers guard can. The connection between hip hop music and NBA basketball is deeper than any other two unrelated entertainment interests. Kobe Bryant recently spoke on his all-time favorite albums.

Recently, Kobe Bryant talked about some of his favorite hip hop albums. During the interview, Kobe Bryant stated Reasonable Doubt remains his favorite album, but a close second is American Gangster, followed by The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death. Wonder how Kobe feels about what Kendrick Lamar said?
