In other news… Just Blaze is in the midst of a strong run and he is fresh off the release of his “Higher” remix with Baauer featuring Jay-Z. With so much other stuff going on, this story has gotten overlooked. But, with things relatively calm at the moment, it is time to go back and look at some of the other things going on.
Before all the antics from some other hip hop artists, the focus pointed solely on Jay-Z and Magna Carta Holy Grail. Dropping in the middle of the summer, Jay-Z ensured himself to have the biggest release of the year. One element noticeably missing from his new album was contributions from Just Blaze.
Earlier this week, Just Blaze visited Power 105.1 and talked to “The Breakfast Club.” He spoke to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God about Jay-Z doing the “Higher” remix with he and Baauer. Just Blaze also explained why Magna Carta Holy Grail did not include a Just Blaze beat.
