Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Ever since 2011, Drake has had to fight a little harder than his respect than most other rappers in the game. A lot of this comes from his “Degrassi” background and the type of music he makes. Hip hop was ready for a change and then Drake helped bring about something different in hip hop.
But, as more situations present itself, Drake is being made to look more and more defenseless. The biggest story of the week has been Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse on the Big Sean song. Even in the memes circulating the internet, Drake is still being viewed as soft, or “sweet.”
Earlier this afternoon, hip hop fans on Tumblr had a few good laughs at the expense of Drake. Picking up where the memes left off, the fans continued to make fun of Drake’s embrace of femininity. Their Drake joke session started with the phrase “Drake the type of nigga to…”
