Kendrick Lamar receives sales boost, “good kid, m.A.A.d. city” charts at number six on Billboard

Kendrick Lamar 12Insults always hurt and when they’re true and this is the case with Kendrick Lamar and his verse on Big Sean’s “Control.” No one else is going to mention this, but Kendrick Lamar starts his line with “I got love for all y’all,” and then he proceeds to annihilate his peers. All of them have had less-than-friendly responses.

Even though he is only one album deep, Kendrick Lamar was one of the biggest artists to debut over the past decade. One of the biggest new stars in the game, Kendrick Lamar posted a modern classic with good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Few people can boast of that who are considered peers of Kendrick Lamar.

Ironically, the latest good kid, m.A.A.d. city sales report coincides with Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse. Further validating his claims against Meek Mill, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, and the others, Kendrick Lamar had a sales boost close to a year after dropping his album. Kendrick Lamar is at number six on the charts.
