Last year, Future officially made the transition from a mixtape phenom into a viable mainstream artist in 2012. One of the hottest breakout artists of 2012, Future planned to drop his sophomore album before the end of 2013 if not before 2012 ended. A lot changed for Future going into his sophomore album.
Early in 2013, Future confirmed the rumors of him being romantically involved with Ciara. Dropping the “Body Party” single, the two are blissfully in love with each other, more than many thought. Since announcing his album, Honest, and the title single of the same name, Future is making his media rounds.
Future continued his run when he visited Hot 97 in New York City. In the interview, he spoke on his work with Drake and his wishes of marrying Ciara. During the interview, Future also talked about his plans of working with Pharrell in on the upcoming album.
