No rapper in hip hop history has gone through what Ja Rule has and lived to tell the story. Most people would be bitter with a hand like the one Ja Rule has had over the past decade being dealt to them. Instead of being bitter, Ja Rule is humbled by the experience and ready to make a go out of his career.
Ja Rule initially attempted his comeback in 2007, but setbacks led to him not dropping an album until 2012. An overall commercial failure, Ja Rule has already had albums that have gone six times platinum, so sales are the least of his worries. Already, Ja Rule is back and is on a song with Lil Wayne and Birdman.
A free man since May, Ja Rule is now beginning to make moves publicly. Recently, the former(/future?) King of New York held a “Welcome Back Party.” Ja Rule played host to his friends, N.O.R.E. and Benzino, along with Jazze Pha, plenty of video vixens, and many more celebrities.
