Often overlooked, Fat Joe is one of the hardest rappers in the history of the game. He doesn’t receive the same level of respect as a lot of other veterans in hip hop, but Fat Joe has come through it all and is still here. According to his Twitter and Instagram, Fat Joe is working on The Darkside 3.
Late last summer, Fat Joe surprised a lot of people when he shook 50 Cent’s hand at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards. At a time when Fat Joe was expected to beef with 50 Cent, they talked about future collaborations. Fat Joe later said he ended the beef because it was a lifelong wish of Chris Lighty.
This morning, DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God sat down with Fat Joe over at Power 105.1 at “The Breakfast Club.” In the interview, Fat Joe spoke on ending the 50 Cent beef in honor of Chris Lighty, the “incident” with Jay-Z and Big Pun, and his history with The Notorious B.I.G. Fat Joe also discussed his legal issues.
