Chicago is in the midst of a lot of controversy with all the senseless killings going on within the city. It’s unfortunate, but at the same time, it is hard to overlook the talent coming out of the town. There are so many major artists from Chicago who are blowing up all over the place.
Outside of Chicago, Kendrick Lamar transformed from being a buzzing independent rapper to MTV’s Hottest MC in the Game. A lot changed for Kendrick Lamar in a short period of time. He recently tore down the house in Chicago for their Lollapalooza hip hop festival.
Also at the show was popular Chicago artist, Fredo Santana. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Fredo Santana is a member of the GBE camp. He and Kendrick Lamar represent two different sides of the hip hop spectrum, but it was the artform that brought them together at Lollapalooza to make this photo happen.
