Most of the hip hop community can agree on one thing, if nothing else, they are pissed off with the “not guilty” verdict George Zimmerman received. No matter what he had done in his life, Trayvon Martin was not bothering anyone when George Zimmerman killed him. Sadly, this is something most people do not understand.
Based on his actions and the age differences, most would hope that would be enough to convict someone. “Thou shall not kill” is something that seems to be forgotten in this new day and age. Even the toughest gangsta rapper knows that killing an innocent child goes against the rules.
Freddie Gibbs recently talked to XXL and he talked about George Zimmerman. A lot of people feel something was off with the jury. When he spoke on it with XXL, Freddie Gibbs read a lot of people’s minds when he said the jury “didn’t give a fuck” and just wanted to get back to their lives.
