When it comes to New York, A$AP Ferg is the biggest breakout artist of this past year and his run is nothing short of spectacular. In a rather short period of time, Ferg has posted a major hit and he got into a high-profile feud. The hit was “Work” and the official remix with French Montana, ScHoolboy Q, and Trinidad James.

Meanwhile, Gucci Mane famously called A$AP Ferg out over his Trap Lord mixtape title. A$AP Ferg was unafraid of Gucci Mane, the self-proclaimed Trap God, and he hit back at him several times on Twitter. Their beef made major headlines before the decided to call a truce.

Earlier today, A$AP Ferg made moves toward getting the Trap Lord project out to the public, as it is a month away. “Shabba,” just as “Work” did, is becoming a hit single and today A$AP Ferg released the mixtape cover. Trap Lord hits the internet later this summer on August 20.
