Re-emerging this summer, the world should’ve known Jay-Z had a new album coming this year. Starting the year off with Justin Timberlake and beginning a strong run with him on the “Suit & Tie” single, Jay-Z signed up with a summer tour with JT. Going along with the tour is Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Using the annual Wireless Festival in London as the launch, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have now started the “Legends of the Summer” tour. The footage is already on the site, but there is no official recap. Here with the fix, Jay-Z and Rihanna performed “Run this Town,” and Justin Timberlake performed Pharrell’s “Frontin.”
Missing out on Wireless Festival 2013 sucks, but Boss Hova (Jay-Z) still put it down for the underground. The show, from what has been put on YouTube, was definitely a hip hop classic. Even though a lot of people contest, hip hop is at its highest peak in a long time right now.
