Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
Hip Hop Vibe and yours truly, Preemo have been firing on all cylinders lately. It’s been an enjoyable experience working closer with Hip Hop Vibe and handling some of the news pieces. Most importantly, it felt good to run the site and drop Unsigned to Undisputed, hopefully we introduced someone to a new audience.
“In the Mix” is in sixth gear after returning to Desert Storm Radio, which guaranteed a return to Hip Hop Vibe. Since everything is going strong right now, here is another announcement, Hip Hop Vibe is premiering a DJ YRS Jerzy/Preemo mixtape. With the emergence of DJ YRS Jerzy and Chox-Mak, the IceMen series is coming.
There is so much other stuff to document, including the Mixtape Edition of the HHV First Look series. But, that’s not what this article is about, it’s Sunday, so the week in hip hop is being recapped, this is Top Five Songs of the Week. Here we are then, this is the top five songs.

Ace Hood is on fire right now! After the success of “Bugatti,” DJ Khaled’s We The Best signing teams up with Chris Breezy on “Rider.” This resonates as everyone is looking for that one girl that is ride or die just ask E-V-E and the The Ruff Ryders.
Migos ft. Rich The Kid – “Jumpin Like Jordan”
With the success of the “Versace” featuring Drake, Migos have been on everyone’s radar! After featuring Migos alongside Chill Will and Yung Fresh on Unsigned To Undisputed, I wasn’t expecting another dope track to drop this soon! With Rich The Kid on the feature, Migos have proved quality and quantity is achievable.
Theolodge – “Hold Up (Pimpin’ in It)”
Hold up, let me put some pimpin it it! This record is built for the summer and the clubs will agree. Theolodge drops this catchy chorus over an infectious beat delivering a perfect combo. DJs get this record in rotation now!
Miguel ft. Jessie Ware – “Adorn (Remix)”
Jessie Ware on the “Adorn” remix? This is one of the tracks of the year and now with one of my favorite vocalists on the remix?! Top Five CERTIFIED.
J-Key ft. Nipsey Hussle – “BatLine”
J-Key has been on the rise for a hot minute now and with Nipsey Hussle providing the feature for this track J opens up the “Batline” for everyone trying to get their hustle on. This track is also featured on Unsigned To Undisputed where we break that exclusive fire!
