Wale talks comparisons to the greats and Tiara Thomas with Baltimore’s 92Q [VIDEO]

The growth is what people get when they follow hip hop long enough and they have seen it in Wale. He has definitely grown up over the past four years and now he is one of the biggest rappers in the game. Wale represents the new generation of hip hop and was one of the earliest rappers to help transition lyricism into the game.

Three weeks ago, Wale released The Gifted, his third studio album. During the promotional run for this album, Wale has embraced the Roc Nation side of his musical family. Wale has interacted with Jay-Z and J. Cole more than Rick Ross and Meek Mill, from his Maybach Music family, this time out.

Wale stopped by 92Q in Baltimore, making his rounds with the media. Along with J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar, Wale is compared to Jay-Z, Nas, and Kanye West. Being placed in the category of the legends, Wale talked to 92Q about how he handles these comparisons and now he feels about it.
