Success brings envy, so let’s leave it at Jay-Z is very successful. He held the rap game down for eight consecutive summers. In recent years, Jay-Z has continued holding the game down, just in a different capacity, as his music has taken a backseat to his job as a manager.

Owning all kinds of businesses, Jay-Z is worth over $500 million, so this means he does pretty much whatever he wants to. But, when Jay-Z and Beyonce took a trip to Cuba, they faced government investigation and backlash. Jay-Z poked fun at it, mentioning it on his “Open Letter” track.

Now, a Florida Republican politician has introduced a bill to Congress that would ban such trips as the one Jay-Z took. The only reason he did not face charges was because of a government loophole. Congressman Ander Crenshaw of Florida brought this up during a recent session and quoted “Open Letter.”
