Indeed, Lil Snupe had a promising career ahead of him. Fresh off the release of R.N.I.C., there were talks of a sequel, which is due later this summer. The future was bright for the Louisiana emcee and Meek Mill had a lot riding on him with the fortunes of his own record label, Dreamchasers Records.
Then, two weeks ago, news broke about Lil Snupe being dead. No one believed it at first, not even Meek Mill. In the midst of this disbelief, reality set in and hearts have been heavy ever since then, especially by looking at Lil Snupe’s social networking profiles and seeing how excited he was about the future.
A little over a week ago, Lil Snupe was laid to rest and now the healing can begin. Still, the investigation surrounding his death is ongoing. The second suspect in the shooting, Edrick O. Stewart, who is 21-years-old, was arrested and booked into the Winfield City Jail on one count of manslaughter.
