Back in the day, Pharrell used to be the driving sound behind hip hop. Only naming a few, Pharrell crafted hits for Ja Rule, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, and many more. In 2006, he released his own debut album and then became inescapable with his music, but just like that he was gone.
There have been a lot of artists to come and go, so Pharrell’s absence was not as noticed as it would have been. But, now that Pharrell is back, everyone is asking the same question, where has he been? All that really matters is Pharrell is back and the music quality instantly has gone back up.
Peter Rosenberg is one of hip hop’s biggest pundits. A personality for Hot 97, sometimes Peter Rosenberg gets himself into trouble. During his broadcast from earlier today, Peter Rosenberg had nothing but good things to say about Pharrell and he is just as thrilled as the rest of the world about his comeback.
