A major debate surrounds Miley Cyrus and her hip hop status. After working with Mike WiLL and scoring a major hit, Miley Cyrus is indeed a part of the culture. As much as they hate to face it, Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” is the biggest hip hop hit of the summer and it has been embraced.
Despite growing up in the “Hannah Montana” image, Miley Cyrus has a deep appreciation for hip hop. In the past, she has admitted to admiring femcees such as Lil’ Kim, Khia, and Nicki Minaj. She has a deep appreciation for the hip hop legends and hip hop has just as big of an admiration for Miley Cyrus.
E! recently caught up with Nicki Minaj and she talked to them about Miley Cyrus. Hearing about what Miley Cyrus said about her, Nicki Minaj returned the favor, showering her with praises. Nicki Minaj said she loves seeing Miley Cyrus evolve into a major hip hop star while hosting her 4th of July party.
