T.I. recaptured his title as King of the South with Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head. It seemed like this album was a new beginning, instead it was the end. Since 2003, T.I. had owned Grand Hustle Records, which was a business arrangement between him and powerhouse, Atlantic Records, but he recently ended this affiliation.

Earlier today, T.I. talked to MTV News about the changes. Grand Hustle Records is now an independent record label, which is drastically different from being a part of a major label. T.I. talked about the differences between running a major label and being independent.
