Hannah Montana went out the door years ago and now Miley Cyrus has properly been introduced. She says she isn’t trying to be a rapper, but she isn’t exactly an All-American pop star either. Miley Cyrus has become one of the biggest stars on the planet and an overnight hip hop figure.
Last month, Miley Cyrus made everybody pay attention to her when she twerked to the strip club anthem, “Bands a Make Her Dance,” by Juicy J. Ever since she twerked, everybody has had something to say about Miley Cyrus. Already, the hip hop world knew Jay-Z observes everything and it becomes an album topic.
On Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay-Z addressed the twerking from Miley Cyrus on the track entitled, “Somewhere in America.” Being mentioned by Jay-Z is something only a few artists can brag about. Miley Cyrus is added to the list and she is happy about it, she said it was a “win for me” on Twitter.
