Ace Hood 6In need of a major hit, Ace Hood linked with Future and Rick Ross for “Bugatti.” As coincidence would have it, Future and Rick Ross were on a bit of a roll, appearing on several other hit singles together. Ace Hood returned after taking a hiatus in 2012, when he only released mixtapes.

“Bugatti” helped reaffirm Ace Hood as a mainstream superstar and the remix became an even bigger hit for him. In the time since Ace Hood released “Bugatti,” he amassed major radio play and has created one of 2013’s most-popular phrases. With the song becoming a major hit, it was only a matter of time before the awards came.

Ace Hood became a member of Cash Money Records when DJ Khaled moved his company, We The Best Music Group, to the them last summer. Birdman said he was excited about the deal because he could directly work with Ace Hood. With that in mind, it was only right for him to present Ace Hood with his gold plaque for “Bugatti.”
