Born Sinner is one of the most-hyped albums of the past few weeks. All of the hype has been rightful because the album is dope. Hip Hop Vibe was spot-on with their review of the album and people need to check it out if they don’t own the album. J. Cole has had a lot of built-in promotion through “Let Nas Down.”
Feeling as if he “Let Nas Down” through his “Work Out” single that helped to officially launch his debut album, J. Cole got a response. Upon hearing the song, Nas recorded over the instrumentals. Nas responded with “Made Nas Proud,” which has kept the internet talking.
While in Los Angeles for the 2013 BET Awards, J. Cole was on the red carpet. VIBE TV was also on the carpet and they caught up with J. Cole for a brief interview. During their conversation, J. Cole talked about being around Nas and his single, “Made Nas Proud.”
