Last year, Nas came through strong with his Life is Good album that most have regarded as a classic. Returning after a four year hiatus, Nas delivered one of the best albums in a long time and showed no interest in slowing down. Never known for his business acumen, Nas is changing things up and investing his money.
J. Cole recently put Nas back in the hip hop spotlight with “Let Nas Down.” His universally panned single, “Work Out,” went against the comparisons some pundits were trying to make between he and Nas. But, Nas was not let down, instead he was proud and he let this be known with his “Made Nas Proud” single.
Nas called into Power 106 and he let it be known that he wants J. Cole on his new album. As the conversation continued, Nas talked about partying with Kanye West for Mr. West’s birthday. Also, Nas spoke on his new sneaker store and the videos being added to the photo sharing website, Instagram.
