This week, the setup for Wale was big, as he released his third studio album, The Gifted, and it shows how far he has come. Back in 2008, Wale was a popular mixtape rapper, but far from being a major star in the rap game. Wale soon thought all of this had changed when he joined Interscope Records.

With Wale dropping his third album, he is clearly one of the biggest rappers in the game, which is a very big deal. But, his family background is from people who do not quite grasp the idea of being famous, as the family is Nigerian. Wale has adapted to America, as have his siblings.

Dreams came true and now it is the day-to-day for Wale. He sat down with Hot 97 yesterday morning and he spoke about how his fame has impacted his family and their working situation. Wale also talked to Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins before speaking on the Maybach Music structure.
