Jay-Z plans surprise concert in New York City on July 8

“This is big money talk, CAN YOU ANSWER ME?,” only Jay-Z can plan a concert everybody knows about and it still be warranted as a surprise. Next month is going to be a major month for Jay-Z. Magna Carta Holy Grail is coming and has already sold 1 million copies.

Four days after the release of the album, Jay-Z has a major concert planned. Before he gets too deep into the plans, Jay-Z is meeting with his good friend, Mayor Michael Bloomberg. They are meeting about Jay-Z’s plans of performing on top of the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee.

If approved, this performance will be taped for CBS on “Late Show with David Letterman.” Already, Jay-Z had arguably the most-discussed album in history, this planned performance would cause even more talk. Life is good (no pun intended) for the Roc Nation boss.
