A few days ago, Jay-Z invaded his Twitter with a rant he called #NewRules. In this rant, the entire Roc Nation empire was boasted about. With only days separating their releases, the company put out and is putting out albums from Kanye West, J. Cole, Wale, and Jay-Z.
Outside of music, Roc Nation is becoming a powerhouse in sports. Recently, the NBA granted Jay-Z his license to become an agent in the league. Previously, Jay-Z made deals with the NFL’s Geno Smith and the WNBA’s Sylar Diggins and now Kevin Durant is the newest client.
This news really should come as no surprise, as it has been rumored for some time as a new deal to take place. Once Kevin Durant dropped his previous agent and Jay-Z was granted his license, the rest fell into place. Today, it became official, as Kevin Durant became an official client of Roc Nation Sports.
