Closing out 2012, Joey Bada$$ saw a major rise in his popularity. Alongside his team members at Pro Era, Joey Bada$$ became one of the biggest breakout rappers in the game. They all wrapped the year of 2012 with their joint mixtape and it is only the beginning for Joey Bada$$.
One of the leaders of the Boom Bap comeback, alongside Chox-Mak and others, Joey Bada$$ is taking the game over. With the summer in full swing, fans are wondering what the status of Summer Knights is, as it recently was delayed. Joey Bada$$ plans to release a solo album after the project.
Joey Bada$$ was in Philadelphia at The Roots’ annual picnic with many of the biggest rappers in the game. His set was alongside Trinidad James and it led to Wyatt Cenac speaking with Joey Bada$$. During the interview, Joey Bada$$ talked about Summer Knights and his upcoming debut album.
