A decade ago, Ashanti found herself working on her sophomore album and at the end of a successful run with Ja Rule. Personally, Ashanti had reached new heights, but Ja Rule was on a rapid decline. So much has changed since 2003 and Ja Rule even did a stint in prison.
Still, as was the question six years ago, will Ja Rule and Ashanti be working together. In 2007, Ja Rule and Ashanti were both in comeback mode, but her personal relationship with Irv Gotti led to her distancing herself from Murder Inc. With Irv Gotti out of the picture, fans are eager to see if they would reunite.
Earlier today, Ashanti talked to Hot 97 about her upcoming Brave Heart album. She announced collaborations with many of the current big names. Ashanti spoke on meeting with Meek Mill, French Montana, and also Ja Rule and then she also discussed working with Cool & Dre on the album.
