Read the entire interview below:

Can you explain to us the title, Perfectly FlawedBasically, of course everybody is into the materialistic side of things. That can be a flaw, I have flaws, but I’m “perfectly flawed,” so I make it look good, if you get my drift.

What type of work went behind putting this mixtape together? Man, long nights in the studio, long days in the studio. I have been working on this project for the past three months. I already had my features lined up, so it was all on me. I recorded over 150 songs for the mixtape to choose from, so the ones you will hear will be the best.

How do you rank this project compared to the other ones that are out right now? The content is on point. My music speaks for itself, it is a lot different than the other stuff that comes out. We have some visuals coming out soon.

Can you talk about the guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Zed Zilla, and the others? Yeah. Pretty much all of the records that were featured were sent over. I did record with the local artists in St. Louis though. But, I reached out to the other guys and they showed love on the records. We have great relationships and Zed Zilla sent me his verse back the same day I sent him the track. I recorded with 2 Chainz a year ago, when I lived in Atlanta, and it wound up on the mixtape. If they appear on the mixtape, I rock with them.

What made you decide to get these guys for your new project? Really, it was just tracks that I recorded. I really did not know which features would make the mixtape. But, with 2 Chainz buzz, it made sense to feature him, plus the song fit with the mixtape, which is most important.

Who else did you think would be a good fit for Perfectly FlawedAnybody, it is a general statement that could fit anybody. Most people like to look good and they like material things, which is somewhat a flaw, but they make it look good. For those who like material things, they fit the category of Perfectly Flawed. It is a general description that can fit almost anybody.

How important do  you feel Perfectly Flawed is to the St. Louis hip hop scene, seeing how Tiffany Foxx just dropped her tape? Oh, it’s real important. Actually, I just chopped it up with Tiffany last week. This is why I got St. Louis rappers like Doughboy on the mixtape. I am still shooting videos for tracks that did not make the mixtape that feature St. Louis hip hop artists to show another version of this mixtape.

What type of sound were you going for with this mixtape? I was going for an all-around, complete, project. I was not trying to leave myself stuck in one category. So, I brought the hood, the records for the ladies, the club, conscious stuff about my life, and then I brought it back. This is a mixtape anybody can listen to and get a feel for Young Rhome.

This really is an off-topic question, but there is a photo of you on Instagram hanging out with Hugh Hefner at his mansion, what was that like? That was crazy! That was at the Playboy Mansion in LA. That was the peak of my life, so far. No show, no nothing, being at the mansion was my top life experience, so far, and I plan to go back. But, when I did the show, it was crazy too.

Can you leave us with your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter so fans can connect with you? Oh yeah. Facebook.com/YoungRhome, Instagram and Twitter are both @YoungRhome.
