Thus far, J. Cole has had a strong showing with his Born Sinner album, which is due to be released later this month. All in all, the month of June is set to be action-packed, with many of hip hop’s biggest names returning. Summer is in full swing, so J. Cole felt it was the best time for him to drop his new album.
Born Sinner was first announced right before Christmas and was teased earlier this year, several times. However, the album did not fully begin until J. Cole released “Power Trip,” which features Miguel. An explosive single and a head-turning music video showing J. Cole going all out for love, there is more needed.
Once again, J. Cole delivered and he teamed up with TLC for his “Crooked Smile” single that has taken off. Yet again, J. Cole has captivated the game and he has not even gone in for the kill. Born Sinner is next on J. Cole’s agenda and the project will be released in two weeks, on June 18.
