A lot of current rappers receive a lot of backlash for recruiting other major artists to appear on their singles. It seems as if most have forgotten about hip hop’s golden era when posse cuts reigned supreme. Fat Joe appeared on his fair share of posse cuts during the 1990s.
Aside from his appearance on LL Cool J’s “I Shot Ya,” Fat Joe had his own legendary posse cut. In 1998, Fat Joe teamed up with Raekwon, Big Pun, and Jadakiss for his classic track, “John Blaze.” The fifteenth anniversary will be officially be marked at the end of summer in September.
Announcing the Revolt TV network in 2011, Diddy has officially launched the network earlier this year. Arranging interviews, Raekwon is among the people who have sat down with Revolt. During the interview, Raekwon talked about the legendary “John Blaze” posse cut.
