There is a lot riding behind J. Cole, as he prepares Born Sinner. J. Cole has done what no other emcee from North Carolina has, as he begins his sophomore effort. The album is due next month and J. Cole is going up against Kanye West, which is something he chose to do when he learned when Yeezus was scheduled.
This week, J. Cole has been talking with the media about his upcoming project. It has been a year and eight months since J. Cole released his debut album. The constant, seemingly eternal delays he faced the last time around were hurdles he was not faced with on this new album, as he has proven himself.
J. Cole is currently in Connecticut, headlining Hot 93.7’s HOT Jam in Hartford. Since he is performing for Hot 93.7, J. Cole talked to Jenny Boom Boom. During the interview, J. Cole talked about the Born Sinner album and the track listing, which he said was fake when he spoke to her.
