Every Friday, Hip Hop Vibe does the Video of the Week and it gets a little tricky. The “For the Road” song by Tyga featuring Chris Brown technically came out last week, but after last week’s Video of the Week. There have been a lot of music videos that came out this week, but the one that has impacted the most and the longest has been “For the Road.”
Before the music video came out, the song already was an anthem. Tyga and Chris Brown have a strong chemistry when they record together. The two have now been doing songs together for years. “For the Road,” however, is probably one of their best collaborations yet, behind “Deuces.”
In choosing the Video of the Week this week, Hip Hop Vibe had to choose “For the Road” above them all for the previously-mentioned reasons. “For the Road” is an anthem that should not be ignored and it will not be ignored. So, without anymore rambling, “For the Road” by Tyga and Chris Brown is Hip Hop Vibe’s Video of the Week.
