Going from being a street hustler to the biggest rapper in the game to being a record executive and then worth a half a billion dollars is a lot to fathom. Seeing where Jay-Z came from, it is worth being admired. In all honesty, Jay-Z is lucky to be alive and he is out here living the life “you could write a book on.”
When it comes to the rap game, Jay-Z appears to all but be done. Last month, Jay-Z relinquished his stake in the Brooklyn Nets to become a sports agent. Currently, Jay-Z is on a roll and he signed rising NFL star, Geno Smith, to a deal with his Roc Nation Sports. It turns out, this deal is under scrutiny.
There is still enough hip hop in Jay-Z for him to publicize his business deals AFTER they have been completed. Jay-Z took photos with Geno Smith after signing him. Now, the mogul and the rising football star are under investigation for snapping a photo together before their deal was completed, but the punishment is unclear.
