Ever since 2006, people have thrown gay allegations in the direction of Birdman and Lil Wayne because of their closeness. While most straight men can admit they would never kiss another man on the lips, no matter what, truthfully speaking, no one knows what is going on between them. Both men identify as straight males.
Before he launched his multi-platinum album series, Tha Carter, Lil Wayne’s biggest single as a lead artist was “Way of Life.” Featuring the Big Tymers, TQ sang the hook on the record. It seemed like 2002 was the start of something bigger for Cash Money, but it was not the case.
During a recent internet radio interview, TQ spoke on the frequent kissing between the two males. Questioning it, himself, TQ said he received an answer and he accepted it, despite how it seemed. All in all, TQ said he got no gay vibes from either man and chalked it up to something Birdman and Lil Wayne just do.
