There has been a lot going on in hip hop, but one guy who has not had much to say has been 2 Chainz. Officially shedding the title of mixtape rapper, 2 Chainz released his gold-selling album, Based on a T.R.U. Story. The album was met with positive reviews and has gone on to certify gold.
2 Chainz has refrained from releasing any new music, but he continues to make his guest appearances. His efforts from 2012 headed into 2013 have kept him one of the biggest names in the game. Though 2 Chainz is focused on his business moves, he still has plans of releasing another album.
When 2 Chainz last got on his Twitter, he announced he was working on his next studio album. Releasing his album in a little over a year after releasing his debut, 2 Chainz revealed information about his next project. 2 Chainz announced his sophomore project was due to be released in September and that he soon would be announcing the features on the album.
