Born Sinner was pushed up one week because of Kanye West announcing the release of his Yeezus album on June 18. Previously, J. Cole was preparing to release his album a week later, going against Wale’s The Gifted. But, J. Cole said he worked too hard to be overshadowed by Kanye West’s new album.

J. Cole has one of the hottest songs out with his “Power Trip” single that features longtime collaborator, Miguel. Breaking out and becoming one of his biggest hits since the promotion of his last album, J. Cole seems to be breaking the jinx. But, J. Cole has a month to put everything together.

Recently, J. Cole stopped by BBC Radio to talk to Charlie Sloth in London. In this interview, J. Cole spoke on the collaborations he has prepared. Among the collaborations J. Cole has on the album is TLC, who will be the only feature on the album and absolutely no guest verses.
