Money brings a lot to the table and it changes lives. When a person is on the outside looking in, they can only see the benefits of the money. No questioning the benefits of money, but it can also be a burden. Most do not think about their money and their loved ones after they are not around to oversee things.
Heavy D established himself as a peaceful presence in hip hop who made music to simply make everyone party. Big on everyone having fun, Heavy D helped open doors for many of the biggest rappers and executives. Two years ago, Heavy D died and now there is a growing struggle over his estate.
Floyd Myers, Heavy D’s brother, has made an attempt to take over his estate. The will he is trying to impose leaves nothing for Heavy D’s child, his parents, and his siblings. Back in 1999, Myers claim he and Heavy D wrote a will that gave him power over everything in the event D should die.
