Once Wyclef Jean decided to return to making new music, he had to decide the right way to go about doing this. It appears as if Wyclef Jean has found it with his April Showers mixtape that features a nice blend of the old and the new. Wyclef Jean has features from many of the biggest new names in the game.
Troy Ave emerged during the spring of 2012 and has since become one of the biggest rising rappers in the game. Hailing from Brooklyn, Troy Ave had been on the mixtape scene ever since 2004. With his time coming eight years later, Troy Ave caught the attention of Wyclef and he was impressed enough to put him on the April Showers title track.
Wyclef Jean has already released the “Mid-Life Crisis” music video, which has gone on to receive positive reviews. Far from being done, Wyclef Jean is now working on the music video from the title track. Last night, Wyclef Jean released a photo from the music video shoot to Facebook.
