Ever since the Taylor Swift incident, Kanye West has become one of the most-elusive rappers in the game. Staying out of the eye of the public, Kanye West had hopes of toning down the controversy. But, Kanye West is experiencing mixed results, seeing how he recently collided with a road sign.
Kanye West has remained in the spotlight without directly being in the spotlight. Last year, Kanye West released Cruel Summer with G.O.O.D. Music. While Cruel Summer was met with strong critical reviews, it was not a Kanye West album. Rumors throughout 2013 have been about Kanye West’s upcoming album.
Earlier this month, Kanye West tweeted “June 18” on Twitter, which led to a media frenzy. Questions about Kanye West’s album release or what happened on that date took over the media. Recently, a Japanese retailer confirmed Kanye West’s next album will be released on June 19 and a Def Jam executive is rumored to also confirm the release date.
