PreemoBy Preemo

On and offline, this week in hip hop of course was another adventure. Offline, there was the personal experience of linking up with Cash Money Records’ Veronica V. Then, online a lot of people got a kick of Kanye West colliding with that pole trying to avoid the paparazzi.

Surely, followers of “In the Mix” caught both broadcasts of it. On Wednesday, “In the Mix” broadcast on DJ Clue’s Desert Storm Radio. Then, yesterday, “In the Mix” took over the waves at DJ Symphony’s Radio Invasion. Either way, both stations have that weekly dose of “In the Mix.”

Now, it is Hip Hop Vibe’s turn to get their dose of “In the Mix.” By now, everybody knows the Top Five Songs of the Week from “In the Mix” get a spotlight from Hip Hop Vibe. So, documenting this past week, minus the Foxy Brown tell-all about Jay-Z, here is the latest from “In the Mix” and Hip Hop Vibe.

Dizzee Rascal has been on the forefront of the UK Grime music and taking that to the mainstream pop culture and he continues to show his growth with this track alongside former Take That front man Robbie Williams.

Ludacris – “Speak Into The Mic”

Ludacris is consistently dropping that sound that just bumps and he doesn’t fail to deliver on this joint. Definitely one for the club and the car get this for your crate NOW!

Slaughterhouse – “House Gang”

Slaughterhouse is the hip hop group of the decade, personally. With punchlines and real metaphors over a dope sample flip this is a real salute to the golden era of rap that most modern rappers forgot.
