With Master P as his lone opposition, Lil Wayne is hands down the biggest New Orleans rapper in history. Though Lil Wayne always will have love for his hometown, life has led him in another direction. Lil Wayne now lives in Miami and he boasts about the lifestyle down there in his lyrics.
Well-immersed into the Miami lifestyle, Lil Wayne ruffled feathers when he began his onslaught of disses toward the Miami Heat. There has been some sort of resolution between Lil Wayne and the disgruntled fans, among them Trick Daddy. Business, however, continues as usual.
Lil Wayne launched his new shoe line with Supra last week in Miami. The newly-rechristened Mass Appeal Magazine also was in attendance. Despite Lil Wayne being on the job, they were able to get a good conversation out of him about the shoe line, Stevie Wonder going off on him, and his skater lifestyle he has been promoting for five years now.
