Initially when Birdman and Lil Wayne moved to Miami and linked up with DJ Khaled on the music, they had the support of everyone. On the early DJ Khaled posse cuts, there are features from Miami’s hood mayor, Trick Daddy. Somewhere down the line, all of this changed and Trick Daddy became a vocal opponent.
Back in February, Lil Wayne went into full-fledged war mode against the Miami Heat, particularly Dwyane Wade. During this period of time, Lil Wayne said “fuck the Miami Heat and the NBA.” This was enough for Trick Daddy to take matters into his own hands, speaking out and approaching Wayne personally.
This past week, Birdman and Lil Wayne invited Sway Calloway and MTV’s “RapFix Live” down to Miami for a YMCMB feature. During the interview, Sway Calloway talked to the duo about a wide range of topics. Birdman recently talked about the Trick Daddy feud and he said they have talked and all is well between them and him.
