Before the major label deal, Big K.R.I.T. held things down on the mixtape level, so he went through a major transition. An advantage of the internet is not having to wait to release new music. Going through many major label delays, Big K.R.I.T. simply releases album-quality material on his mixtapes.
This spring, Big K.R.I.T. filled the void he left through his King Remembered in Time mixtape that many like. Among the standout tracks on the project is “Only One,” which features Wiz Khalifa and Smoke DZA. With the mixtape out, Big K.R.I.T. has taken a little time to reflect.
AFROH TV recently sat down with Big K.R.I.T. and he talked about his new project and compared it to his last. During the interview, Big K.R.I.T. spoke on all he went through to get his album released and the difference between it and his mixtapes. Big K.R.I.T. then spoke on King Remembered in Time.
