Birdman talks Big Tymers’ reunion on MTV’s “RapFix Live” [VIDEO]

BirdmanCash Money Records has come a long way over the years. Ten years ago, the label was competing with the likes of Roc-A-Fella, Murder Inc., and Bad Boy. Now, Birdman watched his label become more of a Def Jam or Interscope, as opposed to being a boutique label.

As big as Cash Money Records has become, there is a lot missing with the label. Gone are the Hot Boyz, Cash Money Millionaires, and Big Tymers. There has been talk of reviving both the Hot Boyz and Cash Money Millionaires, who live on as YMCMB. But, due to the absence of Mannie Fresh, the Big Tymers were not mentioned.

Earlier this week, Lil Wayne talked to MTV News and he hinted at there being a reunion of the Big Tymers with Drake in the mix. With Lil Wayne and Birdman appearing on today’s episode of MTV’s “RapFix Live,” Sway Calloway spoke on the topic. Birdman admitted a reunion was in the works and Mannie Fresh will not be involved.
