Outside of Game and Snoop Dogg, the first major supporters of Kendrick Lamar came from the bottom of the map. New Orleans-based Cash Money Records supported Kendrick Lamar early on and Lil Wayne remains a big fan of his. While the admiration is there, the world has yet to see them actually share a track.
However, behind the scenes, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne have hung out and it is memorable when they link up. In spite of all the controversy, Lil Wayne has love for Miami and as far as he is concerned, the city loves him too. Lil Wayne is still heavy on the club scene, despite being approached by a few Miami emcees.
Yesterday, Bamboo was the place to be in Miami. Cinco De Mayo was going on and there were several celebrations going on. Bamboo was where both Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne took time out of their schedules to party. While partying, they got together to snap a quick photo for the internet.
