With almost every city in the South taking over the hip hop world with their own breed of new stars, one city has been rather silent. Charlotte, North Carolina is one of the South’s biggest cities, yet the hip hop scene has been nonexistent. However, there are a few names to pay attention to, DJ YRS Jerzy, DJ Ben Frank, and Chad Haynez.
Chad Haynez is one of many Charlotte rappers beginning to have an impact on the game outside of simply the city. Frequently, Chad Haynez collaborates with T Malicious and the two recently united with Sleep G for their new single, “M.O.B. to the Coffin.” The song has done well and now the music video is set to be released.
“M.O.B. to the Coffin” was shot by Purple Cardinal Media and is set to premiere next Tuesday on May 1. But, before the official music video is released to the public, the behind the scenes photos leaked. Purple Cardinal Media handed over a few images from the video shoot for Hip Hop Vibe to share with the world.
